FAQs

Yes, wool is an excellent choice for bedding. Wool contains natural fibres that are resistant to the buildup of dust mites, so it's one of the best-suited options for those with allergies. On top of that, its breathability makes it comfortable in both warm and cool temperatures.

It depends on what sort of support you need. Hollow fibre polyester is a great choice if you're looking for something lightweight that will still provide support. If you want something more dense and luxurious, wool is a great choice.

You'll first need to strip the wool cushion covers from the inners or pads. You can then wash the covers on a cool wool wash in a domestic washing machine. Using a wool wash detergent is recommended to ensure that the wool fibres don't become damaged during the washing process. Once washed, hang outside to air dry.

Neither is better than the other, but they do have slightly different properties. Merino wool comes from the Merino sheep and tends to be softer than British wool due to the finer fibres. British wool is coarser but still provides a very soft and luxurious feel. Both are excellent options when it comes to wool bedding and home furnishing.
